Intermountain Tea Party Hosts California Assembly Candidates

McArthur – The Intermountain Tea Party provided one more opportunity for local residents to hear from District 1 State Assembly candidates before the November election.
Brian Dahle (pictured left) and Rick Bosetti, both Republicans were present last week to address a large audience at the Lion’s Hall.
The format allowed for candidates to introduce themselves and give a brief summary prior to the opponents asking three questions of each other.
Candidates were also given the opportunity for rebuttal.
The evening was concluded with questions from the audience.
Brian Dahle is currently in his 16th year as a Lassen County Supervisor for District 4. He is a third generation farmer and local businessman. He has said in previous interviews that he cannot stand by and watch Sacramento go down this path of destruction. He says he wants to see a balanced budget and economic reform. One of his biggest accomplishments as a county supervisor is working through tough economic times and now seeing Lassen County be debt free. “It is time to put common sense back into government. There is too much regulation on business, our budget needs to be balanced and we need to make a better future for our children.”
